Welcome to our golf course,

Hurdwick Golf Course is set in 63 acres of well drained park land, offering stunning 360 views over Dartmoor, Bodmin and the surrounding countryside.

The course welcomes all levels of proficiency and was professionally designed in 1989 to challenge and reward all players from the first tee to the 19th hole.

The course is 5335 yards long and incorporates an array of hedges, thick fir trees and craftily placed bunkers to challenge all levels of golfer. We also have our own quarry to add to the overall test, which I hope will reward all, yet remain difficult to master.

We put a lot of effort into the greens to keep them quick and have bunkers galore to test your short game. Yet the 3rd at a Par 5 and around 600 yards will reward the big hitter, so will the 17th, which requires an accurate drive through thick hedges and a 180 yard carry to clear yet more hedges.

We welcome new members and green fees alike and encourage family and group visits. There is no official dress code, however due to the established traditions of our club there is some expectation that the players will adhere to the generally accepted golf dress standards, in particular jeans are not encouraged.
